Storytelling
A storytelling extravaganza is scheduled on the grounds of Pedvāle at the 2013 Jāni fire pit. Five Latvian storytellers, including Liesma Lagzdina from Kuldiga and Aldis Putelis from Riga, along with Nor Hall from the US, will initiate the event with stories focusing on midsummer night rites. Drawing on her experience with Performance Art, Deborah La Grasse will foster an environment around a campfire where storytelling can develop.
